About the club

Founded in 1935, the Royal Tennis Club La Raquette de Wavre is the largest club in Brabant Wallon with more than 1,150 members, and it defines itself above all by its family atmosphere. The club enters 48 teams in interclub competitions across all categories, and its tennis school, led by Philippe Dehaes, Rémy Vicenzi and Sébastien Lecloux, offers tennis and padel lessons, camps for children and teenagers, as well as events such as birthday parties or Saint Nicholas celebrations.

Club life is also organised around recurring fixtures: an OPEN singles tournament, the MACA CUP (OPEN doubles tournament), the 24 Hours of La Raquette every last weekend of July, and weekly activities such as Thursday doubles or Monday morning senior challenges and doubles. The padel courts are accessible to members and non-members alike through an electric code-based access control system.
