About the club

Founded on July 24, 1928 as Tennis et Hockey Club Brugeois, Royal Tennis Club Bruges is the oldest tennis club in the city and also the first with a clay court in Bruges. In 1988, the club received the Royal Predicate on its sixtieth anniversary. A well-known name in the history of the club is Nelly Landry (Adamson), winner of Roland Garros in 1948.

The club organises lessons for adults and youth from the age of six, under the name KTCB Rookies, in series of eight weeks. During school holidays, tennis camps run under the name Racketmove. An annual youth tournament, a singles tournament, a doubles tournament (Decathlon) and a club championship are also on the programme. Through the Trooper platform, members can have their online purchases contribute to the club's operations, at no extra cost.
