T.C. Spinnis

About the club

TC Spinnis was founded in September 1975 and is affiliated with Tennis Vlaanderen. Since 2005, the club has been committed to wheelchair tennis: wheelchair tennis lessons are provided, the facilities are fully wheelchair accessible, and every year the club organises a wheelchair-walker tournament and a commemoration of Jens Vanherck. Adults who want to learn to play tennis can take part in the Start2tennis programme. For the winter season, which runs for 30 weeks from mid-September to mid-April, members can take out a subscription for a fixed time and a fixed day on an indoor court.

Every year there is a singles tournament during the week of 21 July and a doubles tournament at the end of August. The club also organises tennis camps in the summer and, depending on the availability of the coaches, camps during the Christmas and/or Easter holidays. In addition to tennis, squash courts and a multipurpose hall are also available.
