About the club
Tennis & Padel Meerdaal vzw is the only tennis and padel club in Oud-Heverlee, located in the Brabantse Wouden. The club was founded in 1998 as a tennis club and added padel to its offering in 2022, the same year it also became smoke-free. TPM is a family club supported by volunteers, including the so-called 'Meerdaal Makers' who run the bar. The bar is only open when there are sufficient reservations, and padel rackets are available for hire during opening hours.
Every year the club organises the Ethias Tennis Tour Junior, an official youth tournament for children from U9 to U15. During holiday periods, mini padel camps of three or four days for teenagers are regularly held. Members also come together annually at the club barbecue.
