About the club
KTG Houtland was founded on 20 July 1959 and is affiliated with Tennis Vlaanderen under number Tennis Vlaanderen 2011. In 2025, the club has approximately 550 members, nearly half of whom are young people. A large proportion of the members are active as volunteers in the day-to-day running of the club, including at the bar, in the maintenance of the grounds and in the organisation.
The Houtland Tennis School (HTS), founded in 2009, holds the quality label "Youth-Friendly Tennis Club" and has an accredited KidsTennis School. The HTS works exclusively with qualified coaches who regularly attend further training. In addition to the Start to Tennis Kids programme, a Multimove Tennis School programme has also been running since 2019. New members can register via the Tennis Vlaanderen website.
