T.C. BOEKT

About the club

TC Boekt was founded in the autumn of 1983 by residents of Boekt, with official recognition on 8 April 1984. The club name and logo, which features a singing bird on a tennis racket, refer to the castle of Vogelsanck, where Baron de Vilanfage de Vogelsanck at the time made two courts available to the new association. The club is affiliated with Tennis Vlaanderen (no. 5076), which means every member is automatically insured for civil liability and personal accidents.

TC Boekt organises several activities each year: the Nacht der Dubbels, an official doubles tournament, a club championship with rounds in singles and doubles (men's, women's and mixed) and a dining day. On Tuesdays, lessons are available for adults in two formats: "Start to Tennis" for beginners and a series of lessons for members of all levels. Court reservations are made via the Tennis Vlaanderen application or website; a member may invite a visitor a maximum of 5 times per year.
