About the club
Tennis 7th Olympiad in Antwerp has its own tennis school, Tennis World Academy (TWA), which has been managed since the summer of 2015 by Sonny van der Velden, B-Trainer and former A-Player. TWA provides lessons to all levels and ages, from toddlers to adults, both recreational and competitive, and organises weekly kids camps during the summer holidays with tennis, multisport, before and after supervision and lunch. The club also has a G-tennis offering for people with intellectual disabilities. Lessons may only be given by TWA teachers, as stipulated in the club's internal regulations.
The club is known for its winter tennis and winter competition, and regularly organises club evenings on Thursdays as well as singles and doubles tournaments. The hospitality venue is called Ace Place, run by Guy and Pat, with a snack menu and extensive drinks menu. Part of the facility is also active as Antwerp Padelclub.
