Wikings Tennis Club

About the club

Founded in 1924 on the Minister Liebaertlaan, the Wikings Tennis and Padel Club has found its permanent home at the Leiebocht on the Abdijkaai in Kortrijk. The tennis and padel section is part of the overarching Wikings club, a multi-sport club that also offers cycling, football, jogging, pétanque, archery, manille, bridge, gymnastics and walking. Membership of the tennis or padel section also requires membership of that overarching club.

The youth school organises camps during the Christmas and Easter holidays and for five weeks in the summer, combining tennis and multi-sport activities. From the age of 10, padel is also included in the programme. The camps are exclusively accessible to members of the Wikings. For participants up to the age of 12, tax certificates are generated via the platform of Tennis and Padel Vlaanderen. The court reservation system operates through that same platform under club number 2028.
