Tennis Club Ellezelles

Founded in 1981 by village enthusiasts and established as a non-profit association on 25 March 1982, T.C. Ellezelles is affiliated with Tennis Wallonie-Bruxelles under registration number 3058. The club is based in Ellezelles, voted the most beautiful village in Wallonia in 2025, and its courts bear names drawn from local folklore: Quintine, Jean-Jean dou Ballon and Hercule Poirot for the outdoor courts, Eul Pichoure and Riki Rikète for the indoor courts.

Since 2023, a tennis school supervised by Pierre Lecat has offered baby tennis, mini tennis and junior tennis lessons. The club hosts a singles tournament every summer as well as a Quintine doubles tournament in August. Adult training courses are organised several times a year over three consecutive evenings, with refreshments and dinner on the final evening. In 2002, Justine Browaeys, Odile Clam, Sabine Decordier and Ludivine Druez became French-speaking Belgian interclub champions in the schoolgirls' junior category.
