Royal Excelsior Tennis Club Lambermont

Founded in the 1930s under the initiative of curate Smets, the R.E.T.C. Lambermont was then known as "La Raquette Ensivaloise" before becoming "Excelsior" in 1938, the year of its affiliation with the Belgian federation. In 1985, the club was granted the "Royal" title on the occasion of its fiftieth anniversary. It hosts a biannual ITF tournament worth 15,000 dollars, the first edition of which dates back to 2017. The Lambermont Tennis School (ETL) offers courses taught by qualified coaches and/or physical education graduates, with summer and winter programmes as well as training camps during school holidays. The club has also developed a padel section equipped with indoor courts, featuring inter-club competitions, tournaments, introductory sessions and courses supervised by qualified coaches. Tennis court reservations are made online through the Balle Jaune system.
