RTC Hannutois

About the club

Founded in 1965 by a consortium of ten enthusiasts around Léon Bolle senior, following the acquisition of the facilities of the Winning Tennis Club Hannutois, the Royal Tennis Club Hannutois quickly made its mark on Belgian competition: the first team won the Belgian 2nd national division championship title in 1969 and 1970. In 2015, the club received the title of Royal for its 50 years of existence, an occasion marked by an exhibition match between the Rochus brothers.

Having become a municipal club around the year 2000 following its acquisition by the municipality of Hannut, the club is today chaired by Renaud Schetter. It organises Interclub competitions as well as a Men's 1 tournament, two recurring fixtures in its sporting life. A restaurant, Roger's, is also present on the site.
