About the club

Founded on 25 March 1966, the Royal Tennis Club Neufchâteau (Tennis Wallonie-Bruxelles registration number 6012) was granted the Royal title in 2018. The Tennis School, established in 2010, offers lessons, training camps and junior interclub teams; it quickly attracted a large number of members, to the point that the club now has as many junior members as adult members. The coaches hold qualifications ranging from mini-tennis instructor to AESS level in Physical Education.

Every summer, the club organises junior training camps in several formats: Mini-Tennis (from age 5), Tennis-Multisports (from age 7) and Tennis-Competition. The club also hosts an annual Tennis Wallonie-Bruxelles tournament at its facilities, located in the Vallée du Lac de Neufchâteau. The Tanneries Sports Hall, inaugurated on 28 February 2016, was opened in the presence of Joachim Gérard, who was then ranked 2nd in the world in the ITF rankings.
