TC Belle-Fleur

Founded in 1980 under the name Tennis Club Cherattois, TC Belle-Fleur takes its name from a powerful local symbol: the Belle Fleur is the tower visible at the top of the Cheratte slag heap, a remnant of the Hasard colliery which permanently closed in 1977. As early as 1983, the club was taking part in interclub competitions and organised its first tournament. In 1995, its first team reached the national division.

On the youth side, the Tennis Horizon tennis school offers individual and group lessons, baby tennis from the age of 3, and holiday camps during school breaks. The club has also run introductory sessions in partnership with the non-profit organisation Junior Team and TC Marmotte in the classrooms of the Cheratte municipal school. Court reservations are made online via Balle Jaune, with only one reservation allowed per day. The club also has its own craft beer, the "Bière Battue".
