TC Lanaken

Royal Tennis Padel Lanaken, located in Pietersheim, is celebrating its 50th anniversary and holds the royal title. The club runs entirely on volunteers and an unpaid board. Outdoor tennis is possible from April through October; after that, the tennis hall provides an alternative. Padel can be played all year round. The club organises several tournaments per year: an open tournament and a Kidstour for tennis, and for padel a weekend tournament, a Legends tournament, a weekday tournament and a mixed tournament. In September, members compete for the club championship. All members have access to a free club ladder and are insured against sports accidents through Tennis and Padel Vlaanderen, including abroad. Furthermore, the club participates in a recycling project in which old tennis and padel balls are converted into soundproofing material for student rooms in Belgium.
