About the club
Tennis Club Vlug Vooruit is a division of Vlug Vooruit vzw, an association that also includes divisions for football, pétanque, billiards, table tennis and darts. During the summer season, the club organises regular events such as club evenings, club championships, a veterans tournament and the night of doubles. Members can also participate in Sporta or Tennis Vlaanderen tournaments, both at the club itself and elsewhere.
The tennis school is open to youth from the age of 4 and to adults. The youth lessons follow the Kidstennis training concept of Tennis Vlaanderen, with skill levels indicated in colours ranging from white to yellow. For those who play interclub, there are training sessions of 1.5 hours per session, spread across the weeks before and during the interclub matches. The club is also active on Facebook through the page Vlug Vooruit Tennis.
