S.V. AARTSELAAR T.

About the club

S.V. Aartselaar T. was founded in 1976 as a section of the Sports Association Aartselaar, on the initiative of Miche Lodewyckx. The club is best known for the Unicef tournament, which took place for the first time in 1979 and over the years grew into an event known to all tennis clubs in Antwerp. The proceeds went entirely to Unicef, amounting to a total of 855,000 euros.

For lessons, the club works together with tennis school DTA, which divides groups based on level and age, with the option of private lessons as well. Both tennis and padel are covered, and young people can attend summer camps. Every Friday there is a regular club evening. In August, the club annually organises a tennis tournament and a padel tournament. Competition is possible through the Beker Claus, the Beker Tony Martens and tennis and padel interclubs.
