About the club
K. Brandt T.C. was founded in 1937 by Tony Deckers, who constructed tennis courts and rented them to VZW Den Brandt. The clubhouse is built in Art Deco style and overlooks the centre court from its terrace. In 2027, the club will move to the Wilrijkse pleinen, with an extensive new facility.
The tennis programme is in the hands of Baseline Tennis Academy (BTA), led by Wim Neefs and a team of six permanent coaches and qualified volunteers. BTA provides group lessons, private lessons, camps and competition training in accordance with the teaching methodology of Tennis Vlaanderen. The club also regularly organises a youth tournament, interclub weekends and club evenings, including a Wimbledon edition with an 'all white' dress code.
