About the club

TC Groenpark Hoboken was founded in 1981 as Tennis Club Municipal Staff Hoboken, for employees of the Hoboken district. After a name change, the club was opened to everyone, while the abbreviation G.P.H. was retained. The club is affiliated with Tennis Vlaanderen, HANDEL and AVVV. Tennis lessons are provided by Baseline Tennis Academy under the direction of Wim Neefs, who achieved a highest ATP ranking of 450 in singles and 150 in doubles and is part of the Kids Development coaching team of Tennis Vlaanderen for U9 and U11.

In addition to competition, the club organises an annual doubles tournament with categories for men, women, mixed and seniors. The club programme also includes a club championship, card evenings, a quiz and a winter walk. Three courts were completely renovated in 2011-2012.
