TC Orbis Waarschoot

TC Orbis was founded in 1983 on the municipal sports grounds of Waarschoot and adopted the legal form of a non-profit organisation in 1989. The offering runs throughout the year: indoor courts are available in winter. The tennis school ATTAK, a separate non-profit organisation led by Pieter Van Hyfte and Filip Versluys, provides paid lessons for recreational and competitive players, both young people and adults.

Every year the club organises an Easter tournament, a tournament in September, a club championship and an Open Doubles Tournament. In addition, there are club evenings, a walking weekend and afternoons for people aged 50 and over. Membership fees are deliberately kept low, with separate formulas for adults, families, young people and supporting members.
