De Rakket

The tennis school of TC De Rakket has built a solid reputation for recreational players and competitive players. The lessons follow the curriculum of Tennis Vlaanderen, from toddlers aged 3 and up to beginning adults, and are taught by head coaches Joris Bigaré, Jan Van Genechten and Stef Van den Acker. They are also responsible for the composition and follow-up of the competition groups. The tennis school offers both a summer and winter programme.

The club year features several recurring events: an annual BBQ linked to an Open Day of the tennis school, a Halloween tennis event, blacklight tennis, a Christmas training camp and a "Dinner Day in aid of youth" where members can come and have a meal in support of the youth activities. On the competitive front, the U17 boys qualified for the Flemish finals of the interclub competition after winning the championship in their own region.
