About the club

TV Den Briemer is the tennis club of the Belgian municipality of Baarle-Hertog, founded on 1 January 1977 by Jan Gulickx, Claude Halloy and Louis Geenen. The initiative arose from the desire to have an accessible club for the Belgian residents of Baarle-Hertog, as an alternative to the Dutch club in Baarle-Nassau. The three founders are still members of the association to this day. The club has an average of around 150 members and runs entirely on volunteers.

The offering includes tennis lessons for young people aged 6 to 16 and for adults (from 16 years old), which are organised twice a year in series of 6 lessons of one hour each. There is a weekly social evening, and a monthly activity is on the programme. The annual Champignon Tournament is a fixture in the local tennis circuit.
