TC De Jonge Wingerd

Tennis and Padel Club De Jonge Wingerd was founded on 21 November 1973 and has more than 500 members. The club runs entirely on volunteers, divided across five working groups: Infrastructure, Clubhouse, Administration, Activities and Competition. The emphasis is on enjoyment of the game and recreation, although there is also room for competition through interclub matches in mixed and senior series. Each year the club organises a summer doubles tournament and the padel tournament Clint Immo Open.

Tennis lessons are provided by a tennis school with which the club has an exclusive contract. All members are affiliated with Tennis Vlaanderen and are automatically covered by the sports accident insurance policy. Through their health insurance fund, members can recover part of the membership fee, ranging from €15 to €30 per person depending on the fund. The clubhouse is open during activities, tournaments and interclub matches.
