KTC Eupen

K.T.C. Eupen stands out for a rare academic dimension: since September 1987, the club has been collaborating with the Pater Damian school in Eupen to integrate tennis training into the school curriculum. From the third year of secondary school, a sports department offers 8 hours per week, including 5 hours of tennis and 2 hours of sports theory. Students can obtain their D-TRAINER certificate, recognised by the German-speaking Community. The competitive training programme requires young players to participate in at least 5 tournaments per season and to play in interclub competitions for one of the 5 clubs in the region.

The coaching team includes Marie Benoit, a former player ranked in the WTA top 200 and Fed Cup participant, as well as Bruno Zambon, who specialises in wheelchair tennis. The club also offers padel, supervised by coaches qualified by the Padelakademie Köln/Walls, and a tennis kindergarten accessible from the age of 5.
