About the club

HTC Ter Heyde has existed for more than 50 years and has grown into a family business: in 2007, Christian Dolfyn and Marianne Maes took over the club, with their son Philip in the tennis school. That school has its roots in the 1980s, when Christian Dolfyn took it over. The club was also a pioneer in the Kempen region in terms of padel, after the then-owner had discovered the sport during holidays in Spain.

Every week, more than 800 sports enthusiasts find their way to the club. During school holidays, the club organises tennis camps for children, with a hot meal and multi-sport elements. In addition to tennis and padel, there are also opportunities for walking, cycling and mountain biking, and the location connects to several walking route junctions. The padel players are divided into WhatsApp groups by level.
