About the club

TC Aquila in Wingene has been working since 2011 with the Tennis & Padel School under the leadership of Claude De Clerck. The school joined the KidsTennis concept of Tennis Vlaanderen at its founding and is a recognised MULTIMOVE club. Since 2012 the club has followed the Start To Tennis project, and in 2019 the Breack project for teenagers. During school holidays the club organises training camps for children aged 3 to 15, combining tennis, padel, omnisport and creative activities. The club participates in KidsTennis tournaments and Ethias Tournaments. Tennis Vlaanderen awards the club the "Youth-Friendly Tennis Club" label annually; in 2022 the "Recognised Tennis School Bronze" label was achieved and in 2025 "Recognised Tennis School Silver". TC Aquila has also joined the Youth-Friendly Padel Club project. The club clothing is of the Babolat brand.
