About the club

Founded in 1936 by the Vestiaire des Écoles Communales de Jupille, the Royal Fayenbois Tennis & Padel Club was granted the title "Royal" in 1986 on the occasion of its fiftieth anniversary. The club, located in the classified Fayenbois woodland, has organised several high-level professional tournaments, including an ATP $50,000 Ladies event in 2000 won by Justine Henin and an ATP $15,000 event in 1999 won by Olivier Rochus. In 2022, the Men's team won the Belgian Championship title in Division I.

Almost 40% of the members are under 18 years old. The tennis school collaborates with a Dutch organisation to allow the best young players to train abroad. The club has also been a pioneer in padel, with its first installation as early as 2018. Member Raphaël Collignon is ranked ATP 81.
