Rommersheide Sport

Rommersheide Sport is a tennis and pétanque club in Brecht, accessible via the St-Job exit of the E19. Chairwoman Jeannine Van Huffelen leads a club that, in addition to tennis, also offers pétanque, both recreationally and in a competitive context. From 2024 onwards, the club collaborates with Aspire Academy, a tennis school led by Glenn Blockx, who is himself a member of the club. The academy works with qualified coaches; those who take lessons are required to first become a member of Rommersheide Sport in order to be insured during the tennis year.

The club organises three fixed themed evenings each week: Men's Night on Wednesday, Ladies Night on Thursday and Club Night on Friday, each starting at 6 p.m.
