About the club

Located in Laeken, the R. Primerose C.B. is managed by the BATD (Belgian Association for Tennis Development), a private association founded in 1989 to promote tennis in Belgium at all levels. The club has hosted five Davis Cup ties as well as an ETA tournament, and regularly welcomes events from the Tennis Europe Junior Tour as part of the BATD Tour, launched in 2017. The BATD network has supported professional players such as Kristof Vliegen, Olivier and Christophe Rochus, Yanina Wickmayer and Kirsten Flipkens.

The tennis school offers camps every summer, as well as at Christmas and Carnival. The most deserving young players can join the Young Team BATD, a support structure for 6-17 year olds that includes intensive training and competition follow-up, both in Belgium and abroad.
