Ruisbroekse Tennisclub

The Ruisbroek Tennis Club was founded on 11 May 1974 by about thirty tennis enthusiasts, on the occasion of the opening of the A.J. Braillard Sports Centre in Ruisbroek. Honorary president J.-P. De Greef was among the co-founders, and some members have been continuously affiliated ever since. In 1994, the association was converted into a non-profit organisation. The club aims to promote the sport of tennis across all social classes and to encourage friendship among members.

For adults (16+), the club organises spring lessons in small groups of two, three or four people, each consisting of a package of ten one-hour lessons. In addition, members participate in inter-club competition. In 2004, the municipality covered two outdoor courts, which extends the playing season.
