About the club
T.C. Pavinom was founded in 1969 by several former students of the Pius X College in Zele. The name is derived from an emblem with the motto "PAtiencia VINcit OMnia". The club is located at Olmendreef 16 in Berlare, on the edge of the Gratiebossen and 500 metres from the Donkmeer. In addition to tennis, Pavinom also has six pétanque courts and the club has approximately 150 members. Play is possible from April until the end of October, depending on weather conditions.
Each year the club organises a Culinary Doubles Tournament, interclub and club championships, complemented by several BBQs. The chalet, originally a barrack from Ottigny that was rebuilt on site in 1973, is accessible to all members via a personal code. Members who voluntarily supported the purchase of Pavinom in 2014 can enjoy a discount on the membership fee.
