How does interclub tennis work in Belgium?
Interclub is Belgian tennis's big team competition: club teams face each other by series and age category, in encounters combining singles and doubles. Each federation (Tennis Wallonie-Bruxelles and Tennis Vlaanderen) organises its own interclub every year.

What exactly is interclub?
Unlike tournaments, where everyone plays for themselves, interclub is played as a team wearing your club's colours. An encounter pits two teams against each other and consists of singles matches followed by doubles; the team result counts towards the series standings, with promotion and relegation from season to season.
Teams are organised by category (men, women, juniors, veterans) and by series level, from provincial to national depending on the federation.
Which ranking do you play interclub with?
Always with the ranking calculated in October. Even after the May ranking is published, interclub, inter-series and inter-region competitions continue to be played with the October ranking. This is an explicit rule of the ranking regulations.
The order of players on team lists and match sheets follows the ranking; from 95 points upwards, the player's order number (index) is used to rank players with the same classification.
How does interclub count towards your ranking?
Your interclub counts as one competition among the best 6 used for your ranking calculation. Your 3 best wins are taken into account: 3 wins valued at 100% and divided by 3; 2 wins at 80% divided by 2; 1 win at 60%.
Without a win, your interclub earns no points and is not counted among your 6 competitions. The matches played do count, however, towards the threshold of 2 official matches needed to be calculated.
